RECIPROCITY PROCEDURES

For Outgoing Reciprocity:

Only Georgia preventionists credentialed at the ICPS level are eligible for reciprocity in states also affiliated with IC&RC.  If you plan on moving to a state with IC&RC reciprocity, contact the PCCG Administrator at pccginfo@gmail.com for an Application for Reciprocity preferably sixty days before your planned move.  Complete the application and send it back to PCCG with payment made payable to IC&RC (check, money order, Visa or Master Card) for the non-refundable application fee of $100.00. Make a copy for your records. Your current PCCG credential must be valid for at least 60 days past the time of application for reciprocity as expired credentials cannot be processed.

PCCG will send your application and fee, along with a Credential Verification Form, to the IC&RC office. IC&RC will review your application. If approved, IC&RC will forward an approved reciprocity notification to your requested board. You will then receive a certificate and/or confirmation from your new certification board.

Contact the board in the jurisdiction to which you are relocating and ask if there are other requirements that you must meet in order to reciprocate your credential.

For Incoming Reciprocity:

Candidates seeking reciprocity in Georgia must apply through their current state’s credentialing board and IC&RC.  Reciprocity Approval Notification MUST be received by PCCG from IC&RC. Upon receipt of Reciprocity Approval Notification, PCCG will issue a certificate or notice of acceptance to the applicant.
