RETIREMENT STATUS
PCCG offers a Retired Status for those no longer working full time but still remaining active through training, volunteerism and consulting in the prevention field.
When a currently certified individual retires from the field after being credentialed for a minimum of five (5) years, he/she is eligible to apply for Retired Status. Those retirees having less than 5 years of certification must have at least 10 years of service in the prevention field to be eligible for retired status.
Upon approval of application for this status, the retiree may list him/herself as the last credential obtained, retired (i.e.CP, Retired)
The Retired Status is renewable every two (2) years with a $25 fee.
Inactive retirees must document 10 hours per renewal (every 2 years) of training, consulting, or volunteer work in the prevention field.
